Why "best" is the wrong frame
"Best DHgate spreadsheet" and its variants, "dhgate best spreadsheet", "ultimate", "biggest", add up to more than 1,500 monthly searches in the US, UK and Canada. The problem is that a spreadsheet's quality decays every week. A list that was excellent in spring can be half dead by autumn because DHgate sellers relist items and agents close. So rather than crowning one list, this page gives you the tests to apply to whatever list you found.
The five tests
| Test | Pass | Fail |
|---|---|---|
| Freshness | A visible "last updated" date within two months | No date, or a year in the title that is not this year |
| Link health | 9 of 10 random links open a live listing | More than two dead out of ten |
| Photos | Buyer or warehouse photos, not just seller renders | Only polished stock images |
| Seller data | Seller name, rating or review count per row | Bare product links |
| Agent rows | Original marketplace links or several agents | Every link forced through one agent with a referral code |
A sheet that passes four of five is worth using; fewer than three, move on.
Biggest is not best
Lists marketed as the "biggest" or "ultimate" DHgate spreadsheet often have thousands of rows copied from other lists without checking. Size makes them look authoritative and makes dead links harder to spot. A 200-row sheet with seller ratings and recent photos is more useful than 5,000 unchecked rows. The same goes for "cheapest" lists: price without seller data mostly finds you the sellers with the most disputes, which is why our cheap DHgate spreadsheet page pairs price with vetting.
Referral farms
A large share of sheets that rank in search exist to earn agent referral commissions. The tell is that every non-DHgate row opens on the same agent with the same invite code in the URL. That is not dishonest in itself, but it means the list-maker's incentive is sign-ups, not your result, and when that agent closes, the whole list breaks at once, as CNFans-only lists did in August 2026. Prefer lists that give the original Taobao or Weidian link; you can open it on any agent in the status table.
Where good lists live
Most actively maintained DHgate lists are shared through Linktree or Beacons pages, Telegram channels and Discord servers, which our Linktree and Telegram page covers, plus Reddit threads where buyers post photo reviews, covered on the Reddit page. If you would rather build your own, the template guide gives a column layout that makes the five tests easy to pass.
Best by category
Category lists tend to be better maintained than general ones because the curator knows the niche. Start with shoes, clothing, bags or watches; each page explains the category-specific checks, such as size charts for shoes or movement type for watches.
Judge the list, not its label; the best one for you is current, checkable and not tied to a single agent.
Running the tests: a worked example
Here is how the five tests play out on a typical list found through a TikTok bio link. The title says "Ultimate DHgate Spreadsheet" and there is no date anywhere: freshness fails. You open ten random rows. Six open a live DHgate listing, two show "item no longer available", and two open an agent's sign-up page rather than a product: link health fails. Of the six live listings, four have buyer photos and two only have seller renders: photos pass, narrowly. Only some rows name the seller: seller data is partial. And every Taobao row opens on the same agent with the same invite code: agent rows fail. Two passes out of five. Even if it looks impressive, this list will cost you more time than it saves.
Compare a smaller list from a Discord server: updated three weeks ago, nine of ten links live, buyer photos linked in a column, seller name and rating on every row, and original Taobao links. Five passes. That is the one to keep, even though it has a tenth of the rows.
The three questions to ask the list-maker
If the list is shared in a community where you can ask questions, three questions sort good curators from bad ones. Have you bought these yourself, or collected them? When did you last check the links? Do you earn from the links? A curator who answers all three plainly, including "yes, I use a referral code", is usually maintaining the list honestly. A curator who avoids them is usually not.
What a good list will not include
Well-run lists tend to leave out the same things this site does: listings that only sell because they copy a brand, and advice on getting such goods through customs. That is partly about legality and partly practical. Customs agencies in the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands and Australia can seize trademark-infringing parcels, and buyers on Trustpilot and Reddit report that DHgate does not refund seized goods. A list full of those items has a hidden failure rate that no link check reveals.
When to stop using a list
Drop a list when its dead-link rate climbs past about one in five, when its agent closes and nobody converts the rows, or when the curator stops answering. At that point, copy any sellers you liked into your own sheet using our template, and move on. The goal is a small, current set of trusted sellers, not the biggest possible list.
FAQ
What is the best DHgate spreadsheet right now?
The one that passes the five tests on the day you use it. Lists change weekly, so we publish the tests rather than a single winner.
Is a bigger spreadsheet better?
No. Large lists are often copied without checking and hide dead links.
Are DHgate spreadsheets free?
Almost all are. Be cautious of paid lists; the same sellers appear in free ones.
Why does every link use the same agent?
The list-maker likely earns a referral fee from that agent. Look for original marketplace links.
